Wonderful stay amidst all the buzz

Splendid resort with comfy rooms, great gardens, nice restaurant & a good private beach. Among all the crazy & noisy town, it's a perfect getaway fr few days...... Town main attractions are easily accessible if u rent a bike....The hotel services were very welcoming & helpful. Only drawback being getting the ocean edge table for dinner, u need to notebook it in advance.... Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple

A Relaxing Place to Be

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 Nights. The place is so amazing. I love the food as well. The beach itself is not that perfect as it is not white sand. But the resort and and the Infiniti pool is enough for you to be relaxed plus the view from the resort is just so amazing. I would definitely want to come back soon for sure.

A quiet and relaxing retreat in busy Pattaya

We stayed here for 10 days while visiting a relative in Pattaya. He told us that it was where he would stay, and we weren't disappointed. The grounds are a beautiful manicured jungle with fascinating paths from the reception area to the various rooms. There the Communist Path and the Capitalist Path. Also rabbits. There's a great beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. And there's a beautiful infinity pool, complete with spa. Service in uniformly excellent. The food in restaurant is excellent. We especially liked the breakfast (included.) The coffee is superb Very enjoyable stay..

Beautiful by the beach

The kids loved this, there are rabbits in the gardens and a few steps from the pool down to the beach with security standing there so it's safe for the kids to go on their own. rooms are clean, staff speak good English and great restaurant.

Best resort ever in Pattaya

I have been here with my family I spend 6 nights , the resort is amazing peaceful quite and enjoyable. 15 min. to the walking street so a way from action and noisy place. Private pool and beach all the days I stayed in the pool and the beach you will never want to go out from this resort recommend for families and couples. For the food the breakfast is very good . It was amazing resort , only I have small issue with insects I use good product that will let the insect go away. Remember partial of the resort income will go to the charity . Next year for sure I will come back for a week. Laundry near by as well 7 eleven ..and the resort will take you by small golf car just ask for it .. so will never walk anywhere around.

Worth the stay

It's just great. I stayed here for 10 days during my vacation and it's just Supreme. It is very well kept and you don't have the feeling that you are in a city because of the location it is situated in. If you're looking for peace and quiet then you have to come here. All the staff is very friendly and always there if you have any wishes. The rooms are cleaned daily. They have a nice big pool or a private beach with free sunbeds for the guests of the resort. The beach is kept very clean from what I've seen on some places in Thailand. The WiFi is very good in every corner of the resort even on the beach. Also I have to say there are no hidden costs attached I've seen that some resorts charge you extra for the cleaning, electricity, water and so on. All in all a great place to enjoy and relax. Alone with your partner or family. I would definitely recommend it and personally I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Matej Š

Peace and harmony

I don't really know how to describe this place but I'll try and I'll use some pictures as well. The facilities are just amazing. The pool by the private beach are to die for. There's sun from sunrise till sunset. So if you want a tan and don't want the noise from pattaya, I couldn't recommend a better place. The walk from the reception to our room is a journey trough the "jungle" path and there's signs you have to read. Some of them are so funny. At night the "wildlife" are emerging and we went for a stroll round the resort to find new animals. Mostly lizards, frogs and some other spices. Be ware of the mosquitos! The restaurant cabbages & condoms have a beautiful view from the treetop deck over the sea. Is quit a romantic place to eat your breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

We spent a wonderful weekend here. Resort is a verdant beach oasis with lots of personality. Room is very spacious & clean, strong AC, comfy bed, very nice bathroom. Full buffet breakfast, lots of choices, tasty & delish. Restaurant has good view of the sea. Lush landscaped grounds including organic orchard with fruits & veges. Resort is socially responsible enterprise and runs a school for poor children which until recently was located right on the premises, now moved to larger site. Planning to return soon!

Our favourite weekend retreat from Bangkok

A little piece of heaven in Pattaya.

Have eaten in the restaurant many times over the past 10 years and this April decided to stay in the hotel for 2 nights. Very friendly reception staff, you feel like your arriving in a 4/5 star hotel not a 3 star. The rooms are very basic, but have everything you need, but you will not be spending much time in the room, as the pools and grounds are truly stunning. Will be returning this August with my 7 year old daughter, for 3 nights as it's her favourite place in Pattaya and it's easy to see why.

Amazing

I stayed here in October of 2015. From beginning to end the staff were incredible. The rooms are amazing, the staff is amazing, the beach is amazing, there is nothing about this resort that I would change. Located near to sea and not a easy find. They have a wonderful restaurant... Really amazing!!!

An amazing find

I had a couple of days to kill but didn't want the full-on Pattaya experience. I was so delighted to book this place. It's like a little oasis, or a jungle really. It's a world apart from Pattaya. There is a private beach, a good pool and a fabulous breakfast. The staff were fabulous and and environs just make for a great stay. There are local taxis available outside the hotel but they will overcharge you for sure. We had our own car which makes life much easier. We stayed in a standard room which was just fine even if a little musty. (For the hotel manager, please warn guests of the step down from the toilet to the shower area. It's a little dangerous.)

Great hotel for Bangkok expats wanting an close beach escape with kids!

For expats with kids living in Bangkok - you must check this place out. It has wonderful kid-friendly grounds, is isolated from the hustle of Pattaya, and has a nice quiet beach and two great pools. It's also close -- just 2 hours from Bangkok. And the food at the restaurant is superb. Get to know this place if you live in Bangkok.

Calm, interesting & breathing

I just love this place. It's quirky with a tongue in cheek humour but there is a purpose behind the humour. The gardens are kept immaculate with fat rabbits playing happily or dosing in the shade. Everywhere there is something of interest or to make you smile or place just to think and breath. Rooms, I have a villa, are large and spacious with little things like insect repellant & a torch right there.staff are friendly and breakfast is good. The Villa was lovely, quiet and private

Accommodations in a natural setting with your own private beach

I thought that I was done with weekends in Pattaya. I had lost interest in the monotony of the usual hotel settings and going for a swim at the beach had to be done at the Koh Larn island, which was expensive and too risky. Birds and Bees is actually a hidden gem in Pattaya. Accommodations are set within a forest-like garden. It has a private beach with a desk and personnel that supply you with lotion, towels, etc. masseuses are on hand to give you a soothing rub down and you have the best scenes of the beach for the ideal facebook profile pic . I love this place!

Beautiful

One of the most beautiful resorts I've been too. We had a standard room which was dated and had no view at all, but spacious and clean. What you are paying for are the fantastic communal spaces - the restaurant is stunning, the Childrens pool is perfect, with fabulous shaded cabanas all around and even a table area for eating lunch. My 3 year old loved the trampoline, the rabbits and digging in the sand on the private beach. The sea is as you would expect in Pattaya, murky and with plastic bags etc floating around - but that is not the hotels fault - and you don't need to swim in the sea with such beautiful pools. Breakfast was good selection of western/Thai options, with your own toaster at each table. We ate at the resort for lunch by the pool and dinner, I really wouldn't recommend the cheeseburger but otherwise it was fine, maybe a little disappointing given the fact that it's famous as a restaurant, but you're paying for the setting and the ethos behind it so I didn't mind too much that my tom yum goong was deeply average! I would totally recommend this to families with children - they and you will love it, and there's plenty to do in the general area if you don't want to spend all day in the beautiful surroundings of Birds and Bees.

Peace and tranquility in a very hectic town

Totally secluded away from the frantic lifestyle that is Pattaya where it is possible to relax unmolested by the usual holiday hustle. From the minute you travel down the drive to reception you feel like you are in a protective bubble and the staff are very friendly and helpful throughout. Accommodation is in various settings amongst tree lined paths around a large lawned area where the friendly rabbits abound. Depending on the size of your party relates to which flexible room arrangements you have and this works well. Lovely infinity pool area and hot tub which leads down to a private beach where again staff are there to sort out towels, sun beds and umbrellas plus snacks and drinks. The restaurant (Cabbages and Condoms) is arranged on several different level up the face of the cliff giving glorious views of the beach below. Food is of a very high standard served by friendly staff. We ate here every day of our five night stay. We did venture into town once but not for long and hurried back to calm. The resort and restaurant are the owners brain child into helping improve family life for the less well off people in more remote areas of Thailand and carries its own message. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic unique family friendly resort

We recently had a fantastic stay at the birds and the bees resort at Pattaya . We stayed in a ' Big bug ' room which was great . There was a bunk bed which the kids loved as well as a trundle along with a king bed for us. The children loved the pretend 'bugs' crawling on the walls and the outside covered shower. The resort has a trampoline which was well used by our family and the tame rabbits which wander around were also a highlight . The restaurant food was great with a lovely view . We will definately go back to this unique hotel .

Birds & Bees Resort is a hidden gem within the very vibrant Pattaya. The staff are friendly, the food in Cabbages & Condoms restaurant is amazing and lying around the pool with a book was so relaxing and exactly what I was after. There isn't one negative thing I have to say about Birds & Bees, it's 100% worth a stay if you're in Southern Thailand. I ventured out of the resort once in three days (to go to a Cabaret) and I could have stayed longer.I would recommend this resort to anybody wanting a bit of peace and relaxation in Thailand. Plus, it's all for a worthy cause (look up how Cabbages + Condoms first came about). Room Tip: I stayed in a standard room which I think was the cheapest and it was absolutely fine - clean, good... The secret hideaway you won't believe such tranquil place exist in Pattaya.

Sprawling island of tranquility & deliciousness amid Pattaya

After driving through much of overdeveloped Pattaya to arrive, we couldnt help but be surprised by the lush, yet simple reception area of Birds & Bees. Pools, waterways, bridges, lawns and lots of tropical greenery are wonderfully landscaped throughout the resort to create a setting that truly transports you far from Pattaya or Bangkok. This place is ideal for kids and parents alike. The two swimming pools, one that has 4 different depth pools for different size kids not to mention slides and fountains and shaded areas are a lot of fun. Then there is the giant trampoline that can bring out the kid in all of us, throw in some swings, lawns with roaming bunnies, waterways full of Koi fish, and a nice semi-private beach and the kids are running around all day until collapsing into bed at night. For parents and couple alike there are well placed benches and seating areas around the grounds from which to watch the tykes or a striking sunset over the ocean. And one of the highlights has to be the restaurant. With the same dishes from the famous Bangkok Cabbages and Condoms locale, the fare is creative and expertly prepared to please. The Kao Soi Gai (Northern Chicken Curry Noodles) I had there is still the best I have ever eaten. The restaurant setting helps set the mood with many tables on a large balcony overlooking the ocean and plenty of semi-indoor seating for the hot lunch sun. And for the quality and quantity offered, the food is an excellent value. We never left the resort for the 2.5 days we were there. The rooms are nice as well with lush plants providing private front porch sitting areas all the modern amenities. We rented a two bedroom deluxe room near the restaurant For our two young kids, ourselves and a friend. When we return with just our family, I think a one bedroom will be plenty as they provide a crib free of charge. We were very happy with the resort and especially for a very reasonable price. The only downside is that the gulf water is murky, but thats true all around the gulf. For an expat family in Bangkok this is a welcome, affordable, and easy weekend getaway. We will be back.

Such a romantic piece of paradise ...

We attended a wedding at this wonderful resort and were absoutely blown away by the whole deal. The preparation personel and staff were wonderful and even the weather played its part. The entire wedding went off without a hitch and the staff were just superb. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the food in the restaurant is top quality & the beach and two pools squeeky clean. I wish I could stay here longer and more often, but we will be back. This is one of the most amazing - if not the most amazing! - places I've visited. And I'm quite an experienced traveller. Whether you're travelling as a couple or with children, there's something for everyone there. The staff is friendly, wonderful and helpful. The reception staff also try to accommodate all your needs even some very unusual ones (and yes, this was part of our experience due to a very unusual nature of our trip). I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful place to stay in Pattaya. One more thing: if you are planning a visit to Pattaya Elephant Village, ask the reception to organise it for you. Room Tip: There are different rooms for different budgets/requirements. We stayed in Vila 2, which is a ground...

Good place for a relaxing vacation

This hotel is set against a natural backdrop. The entire complex is covered by trees which provides ample shade from the harsh Thai sun. There are plenty of activities for children and adults alike. It is a very interesting resort to stay in. I would definitely recommend it. Jason S Bangkok, Krung Thep, Thailand “Good service, good food, nice rooms, excellent view from the pool” Reviewed October 13, 2013 Great resort with good service, and clean and nice rooms. The staff are well trained, friendly and attentive. From the reception there's a walkway through the jungle-style garden to the main resort. (A couple of nice suites are also located next to the reception, with private entrance to the family pool). There are two pools; a family pool in the garden with slides, waterfalls, a fountain etc, and a cliff-side pool with a nice ocean view. Some rooms have in-room jacuzzi; very popular with the kids. Birs and Bees is one of our two favorite beach destinations within driving distance from Bangkok; a great place to go for a relaxing family weekend getaway.

Paradise, with a message (and great food)

The Birds and Bees resort is an oasis of peace and tranquility on the edge of Pattaya. The town of Pattaya has cleaned up quite a bit over the past years, but in the evening I would still not see it as a family location. And that's where Birds and Bees is great; you can visit the town during the day (take a left at the main road), or go sailing from Pattaya's little yacht club, Ocean Marina (take a right on the main road!). And in the evening you can enjoy the great food. You really can't go wrong with any of the food-picks. Quite some of the vegetables and herbs are grown next to the lodge. And white rabbits are roaming free. Great to just sit at the pool and gaze at the ocean, or sit at the garden and look at the white rabbits hopping around. Wonderful staff as well, all being from poorer villages of the North of Thailand, being taught English and about the hospitality industry to have skills to take back to the North. Apart from staff training, the money of the resort goes into building schools in the North and the lodge has its share of interesting and funny life-messages around politics, sustainability and family planning. Great place! Room Tip: I stayed there 3 times and never had a noisy room. Even the outward facing rooms are fine.

just gorgeous

Once again I'm back at this lovely jewel of a place, a secret oasis, tucked away in Pattaya. Birds & Bees is a great place for families, couples and single people because there is something to interest all tastes and desires. It is great to see so many families using the facilities, kids bonding together in a natural way, watching the tame rabbits, playing hide'n'seek in the gardens, frolicking on the beach or the kids' pool. For anyone with an educational interest, the Mechai Pattana School has a branch in the grounds, and it is possible to visit the school and talk with the students by arrangement. The show garden is an interesting way to pass the time. All in all, this is a great place to relax and refill your soul with energy. Room Tip: all rooms are good, so it depends on whether you want a view of the sea, the pool, the garden

Just a great and easy getaway from Bangkok. Very convenient, especially if you have children! Nice pool, nice beach. Pataya, but not pataya: perfect for the family! we have come to pattaya for my son's wedding on 1 nov 12 to 8th nov 12, so our whole family is here with 4 small kids. we have taken 7 rooms. the resort is very children friendly, the staff have been excellent, they have private beach which is just perfect with the kids. and two swimming pools one just for small kids and that just worked out perfect for us. we took the two family rooms which are just next to the kids swimming pool and it is like a private house with a pool and sitting room outside. the staff have been excellent, though their english should be improved, very few of them understood us easily

Paradise Found

This is my 5th stay at this charming resort - I keep coming back for more peace and quiet. I am always welcomed like a long lost friend and treated with the utmost courtesy; The room I am usually allotted is always spotless & well appointed. The restaurant service is attentive to say the least, without the bowing and scraping that some expats would expect. The food, although not cheap, is fresh (usually from the hotel garden) and the variety is wide. Both pools are squeaky clean & fastidiously serviced - though it would be nice if guests would use the shower beforehand. The rabbits are an added bonus, but here parents should accept responsibility for their children's actions and supervise them properly all the time. In response to Debbie G's comments, I fail to see why should staff be made accountable for the lack of parental supervision! Room Tip: all rooms are nice, but if you want something special, select from the upper category

Super stay!

Their suite rooms are just too good. The bathroom has a jacuzzi with bath foam in it. It was great fun. One full afternoon we were in the bath room jacuzzi drinking beer and whiskey. The pool was good. There was another open to sky bigger jacuzzi near the pool with a comfortable sitting capacity of 4 people (even 6-7 can fit in there). They've named their restaurant as 'Cabbages and Condoms'. They also have condoms under the glass of each table top. Its really funny but nothing cheap about the resort. The food was yummy. We spent most nights at the walking street and Days in the pool. There is an easy access to the beach just walking down a few steps from the restaurant area. The service was good. The hotel provides free internet access, just ask for the coupons. You can practically work using the internet from most corners of the resort. The house keeping people will be in time to clean your room always. Simply loved that, never had to call anyone to clean my room, they'll always be in time everyday. Room Tip: The suite rooms have a private terrace and sit out there between the trees.

Completely unique

Beautiful setting above the (average for Thailand) beach amongst/built around huge trees, lots of green, pet rabbits and some kittens. Lots of families. Thai food at the restaurant was excellent (didn't try other menu items). At night/ sunset the place is magical. The rooms were nothing to write home about, but didn't really spend much time in them. Fantastic to learn more about the work of Meechai, and to experience a great example of sustainable tourism. Just to be clear, there are condoms everywhere (condom flowers, condom art, condom Father Christmas). Might be a problem if you don't have a sense of humour/are an awkward adolescent on holiday with your parent.

Top family resort

The Birds and Bees resort is part of the Cabbages and Condom family. It is located in a quiet part of Pattaya between the main beach and Jontiem Beach. It is self contained and offers a family pool area and a main pool area. There is a main Hotel wing and bungalows, all rooms are superbly fitted. The best thing about the resort is the restaurant, One of the best in Thailand and thats not an exageration.

Fantastic place to stay to soothe the soul in the bustle of Pattaya

An hour and a half by taxi from the international airport you can be at this oasis of green, rabbits, funny anti-corruption signs, super pool, delicious food, small private beach place run to support the Population and Development Association in Thailand. We had a lovely post flight relaxing 3 days here. Go for a 3rd floor room near the pool if you can't afford the beach side suites. Book a table at the Crow's Nest in the restaurant one night around sunset and enjoy great food with a great, breezy view. It's a 10 minute scooter/taxi journey into town and I'd recommend renting a scooter for your time there if you've got the skills to ride. For the money this is an excellent place to stay as a couple or family with kids for a few days. A hidden gem in a town full of them!

I wanted a romantic getaway and this place was perfect. Booked directly with the hotel. They gave me a deluxe seaview room, upstairs in villa #7, with a king size bed - for only B2925/night. This place is quality throughout. I read a news piece on site which said the owner got a $1M grant from the Gates Foundation for his work with population control. My guess is that he invested it in the buildings and grounds of this resort. The bed was comfortable, not too hard. The shower was large with a big overhead nozzle. Bathroom is spacious. You can see birds and bees in the trees right outside the windows. There is a balcony. I was able to get WI-FI in the room one night, but never thereafter. Need to take your laptop to poolside or the restaurant to get a descent signal. Actually, I needed to find a hotel in Koh Samui and book a flight. The girl at the front desk allowed me to use their computer in the business center for free for several hours - since it was after 6pm. Very thoughtful, and I gave her a nice tip of course. The food was wonderful. Full breakfast buffet every morning with omelettes to order. Had lunch and dinner there as well - good food at reasonable prices. I loved the signs. Walking over the bridges, the sign read "feed our greedy politicians." They were referring to the many fish in the river that go into a feeding frenzy when you toss fish food into the water. They provide the food occasionally in a container mounted on the railing of the bridge. Every night you can enjoy watching the many rabbits romping around the immaculate lawn. We also walked around in their organic vegetable garden. Finally, a place that recognizes the health benefits of organic farming. We used the infinity pool a couple times, since our room was right next to it. We also walked down to the beach and rented a jet ski for 40 minutes for B1000. Took that sucker all the way to Naklua north of Pattaya and then all the way south to Jomtien Beach, just past Pattaya Park. It's interesting to see the area from the water. Also, walked up the stairs into the Asia Pattaya Hotel next door. Huge place with a big lobby, but concrete building painted an ugly green color. They have a golf course on their property, but bring your own balls and tees, otherwise... On the street outside the hotel, we found a bar with a pool table and dart board upstairs. You can play free as long as you order a drink. Plenty of tuk-tuk drivers available. We needed to go to U-Tapao airport for our flight to Samui and negotiated them down from B800 to B500. Into Pattaya was B100, I believe. Same on the way back. I have stayed in many hotels in Pattaya and Jomtien over the years and this one is the best. Peace and quiet, romantic atmosphere and a 5 minute ride to Walking Street when you are ready to party. Can't beat it.

Absolutely loved it...

We went to the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant for dinner on a friend's recommendation and loved the resort. Ended up staying our last night in the beach side villa to spend our son’s birthday. The villa is right on the beach with a private deck and garden. Has a bathtub and outdoor Jacuzzi with a rainforest theme shower. Our son freaked out totally. The resort is fantastic for families with small children and has lots family suites. Also includes - great kiddy pool, amazing infinity pool, excellent food, small private beach that is not crowded at all. Resort is very well laid out rainforest theme. Do not miss a ride to the hotel’s vegetable garden. Staff is nice and helpful. We booked directly with the hotel and got a decent discount. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Best place near Bangkok for families with young children

I have lived in Thailand for 7 years and am always looking for places to go with my 4 year old and 2 year old children. This is for sure the best place we've found. We stayed in one of the family suites that has a private gate that opens directly onto the kiddy pool. The great thing about the pool is that it has two very large shallow areas, so shallow that my two year old could stand on the bottom. The slides, fountains and coloured balls also kept the pool interesting for a lot longer than your typical baby pool, which in most hotels is a concrete circle with nothing other than the water to keep tots interested. The gardens are also a big plus. My kids loved throwing coins in the wishing wells and looking for trolls under the bridges that are in the gardens. The rabbits and chickens that roam about the gardens also provide a lot of fun. They also had a big santa in the restaurant that was decorated enitrely with condoms -the balloon santa as we called it! The beach is narrow but ok. It has plenty sunbeds and it seemed reasonably clean. Previously we stayed at the Dusit when we went to Pattaya, but this is definitely better. Liked — The kiddy pool, the rabbits, the gardens, the restaurant. Disliked — You need to book quite far in advance to get the room you want.

Love cabbages

I'm reluctant to share this place, as having stayed there two years ago, and then again this year, it was so much busier and we no longer had the fab infinity pool to ourselves! This is a gorgeous resort though. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are lovely and spacious - especially the bungalows with the outdoor shower, the bunnies are a cute touch, the restaurant is very good, including the breakfast - there is western and thai breakfast food and I honestly cannot find a thing to complain about. There are plenty of "baht buses" outside the resort which can take you into Pattaya itself if its action you are after and we never found it a problem to get into town or back again what time of day or night it was. Its also very family friendly, with lovely family "villas" round the children's pool. The beach is not too bad - and there is a nice little selection of bars and cafes down there too. Pattaya may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you want somewhere near Bangkok airport (approx 1 and a half hours by taxi) then this is a lovely place to stay.

A lovely resort in an intolerable part of Thailand

A truly lovely family resort close to Bangkok, you can't believe they have such a nice set of bungalows in Pattaya, which is famous for not having any beaches to speak of. They have a great pool at this resort, as well as a jacuzzi, and a nice select strip of beach on the guarded peninsula. We had a very enjoyable weekend. The kids loved the bunnies running around the property, as well as the trampoline and camaraderie of other children. We were there during the winter month of January, so the pool was chilly, but during the hot season it likely is a relief. The food is also a great value, as we ended up eating every meal at Cabbages and Condoms. It all goes for a good cause! Room Tip: Pick a room near to the children's pool, or the adult pool.

Close to nature

Birds and Bees is a very nice place, great location, peaceful, with good food. Rooms are comfortable and the pool is really very nice. The rabbits are very friendly. Cute place. Nice location for relaxing with the family. We've been there three times over the years. I like the social business part of it as well.

Two Nights in November

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Despite being situated in a very commercialized place it feels as if that you are staying away from it all in a secluded resort. The grounds and location to the beach are excellent.

Beautiful, magical place !!

My family ( 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 4) visited the Birds and Bees Resort in December 2007. I would have to rate this resort as being one of my all time favorite places in the world to go to for rest, relaxation and getting away from it all. The reason is that this resort is stunningly beautiful and has so many touches that make it fun for the whole family. The resort is situated on a cliff overlooking Hu Gwang Bay. The main part of the resort consisting of the main buildings, lawn area, infinity pool and restaurant all overlook the crystal blue sea and the view takes your breath away. There are always sailing boats in the background to give a picture postcard view. Add to the beautiful trees, pool, lawns and unique architecture and its hard to imagine a more idyllic place (Check out the pictures on the website and here to see what I mean). The resort is small but this makes it cosy and intimate, a far cry from the several hundred room mass market resorts. Despite being small it has all the amenities of a big resort. There are 2 pools - one an infinity pool overlooking the sea and another specially designed kids pool in the forest complete with 3 slides and a rainfall area. The kids pool is great fun for the family. So is the beautiful infinity pool for that matter. The resort also has a nice jacuzzi placed next to the infinity pool overlooking the sea, which my kids loved. Fantastic!! The restaurant is huge and serves tasty food. Its a 3-deck restaurant built on the cliff and overlooks the beach. Its actually build around some magnificent trees on the cliff. If you want a great view of the sea and beach and surrounding areas you can dine on the upper-most deck. If you want to be closer to the beach you can dine on the lower deck. There is a great atmosphere at the restaurant as you right on the shoreline. Don't miss the sunset from the restaurant between 6 - 7pm (see picture). The price is fairly inexpensive as well. The beach is nice. It is not the best beach in the world as Pattaya beaches don't rank among the worlds best. The sand is perhaps a little too coarse and a little too dark. For Pattaya beaches the Birds and Bees beach is already one of the best and is still a very fun beach. The resort keeps it clean and the water is fairly clear and turquiose in colour. It is definitely a swimmable beach. The resort has a beach bar manned by several staff, who will set up a beach chair and umbrella as well as bring you towels the moment they see you. You can order drinks from the beach bar. Fantastic service. The staff at the resort are extremely friendly and helpful. There is always a smile and a greeting from everyone. We stayed in one of the Standard Rooms, which is the most basic they have. These rooms are situated in the Jungle area. These rooms are very basic but at $2500 baht a night is great value for money. If you are willing to pay more the resort has more luxurious rooms for you to book, many with a seaview. Overall this resort is a real gem and I personally cannot wait to get back to this piece of heaven on earth. Liked — Just about everything Disliked — Going home

Tropical paradise!!!

I vacationed at this hotel with my husband in February 2013. We liked everything about the resort! Very pleased with the large green area hotel, the impression as a bud on a tropical jungle! The room we had was modest, but we did not experience any problems on this occasion. The room had everything we needed such as: bed, nightstand, mirror, refrigerator, table, wardrobe, TV and air conditioning, bathroom mirrors, sink, toilet, shower. I very much like that in the bathroom was a flowing water heater. The only thing that you need to pay attention, because this is a small step outside the door to the bathroom. The tiled floor in the room is very smooth and one must be careful going to and from the bathroom as the floor can become slippery if wet. We stayed on the first floo. At first I wanted to change my room - the hotel has a four three-story villas, but then changed my mind. It was so nice to live closer to the ground, breathing in her scent, to see all the frogs and lizards, butterflies, it is so beautiful! The rooms are cleaned every day, with linen and towels changed every day, too, it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel grounds are very well maintained, there are bridges over ponds with fish. These fish can even be fed, as fish food is stored in a container and a spoon in it on the bridge. Everything is green and beautifully decorated: a wall with water flowing through it and a pond with fish in front of reception, all sorts of interesting signs like "Do not steal, the government does not like competition." I want to say a few words about rabbits - they're so cute! In the day, one cannot see them, do not even understand where they live, and in the evening there on the main site. The kids visiting the resort are crazy about them! They catch them, pet them with their hands, rabbits quite friendly, and feed them! Sit yourself, eat grass and cabbage! There is even a separate box for donations to rabbits for food, I do not if anyone donated, but I deposited a few bahts. There is even an on-site farm growing all sorts of herbs for seasoning, some vegetables, fruit trees, a cage with chickens and geese. It was interesting to walk there and see new things for myself. I discovered an interesting fruit tree, apple-rose. One can buy this fruit in the market - the taste is quite interesting. Even at the entrance to the farm is an enclosure with interesting birds, for which you can watch while sitting next to a bench. Now about the restaurant. There are several levels, including the sea, but they work only at night when there many patrons. The hotel restaurant, Cabbages and Condoms is famous for its cuisine, is why so many people are coming to dinner. There was the case on Valentine's Day, when we were asked to wait, because we could not get a table right away. Fortunately, the wait was not long; before we settle down in the waiting area, we were immediately called to an empty table. The restaurant is famous for its Thai food, it was amazingly delicious! Many thanks to the chef, cooks, waiters for the pleasure that I got to eat! No matter what we ordered, it was very very tasty. If someone does not like spicy hot foods, you notify the server and they will bring you a completely neutral dish. The hotel is so well located that it has its own beach. The fact that the left and right of our beach entry into the water is not present. To the right of the hotel beach is a small public beach, a beach on the left, too, but there's a lot of debris and dirt. The hotel beach is very clean, the sunbeds for guests and towels are free, but outside visitors need to pay a fee. The sea is clean, warm, with fairly shallow areas, but for children it is what is needed. It was not necessary for us to use the pool. With the beach and the sea with salt water - so why do I need the pool! Some people used the pool, but we chose the beach and the sea. In conclusion, I want to thank the owner of the hotel, managers and all employees for their smiles, friendliness, kindness, which made our stay memorable. A state of complete and unlimited happiness we experienced! This is a piece of tropical paradise beyond the skyscrapers and the noise of Pattaya!

bello e tranquillo

In bassa stagione è quasi deserta. Meglio. Hotel bellissimo in mezzo al verde Thai style. Buon servizio e pulizia.

Herlige dager i Jomtien

Å nyte solnedgangen her, må berre opplevast. Stayed March 2016, traveled as a couple
